Berlusconi ha hecho este anuncio por motivos electorales y con el condicionante de que lo hara en funcion de la capacidad iraki para controlar la situacion, que aunque repliegue a parte de su contingente, seguira manteniendo alli algun tipo de presencia o se comprometera a financiar la presencia de otros contingentes de tropas.Saludos a todos.

¿Optimista? Si yo sólo he dado una noticia. Una cosa es publicar una noticia y otra muy distinta, hacer la ola.

Hola a todos:Se ve que la noticias y todos los analisis hechos de las declaraciones iniciales del señor Berlusconi han durado menos que un caramelo en la puerta de un colegio. Ya ha matizado el señor Berlusconi sus declaraciones diciendo que simplemente eran "buenos deseos". Parece que igual el desligarse de la politica internacional no es tan facil como algunos podian pensar mientras participaban en ella.Saludos a todos.

Often question times in front of parliament go deserted because of ministers simply refusing to participate :)Declarations in front of the press are often issued more to send messages around then to communicate a stance. Going too far with the words is not really an issue, since some of the main media will "sexy down" unconfortable news for the ruling coalition, in consequence of being directly controlled or out of the fear of appearing unbalanced.And that's what happened the other day. Support for the war after Sgrena's case is even lower, Berlusconi never being enthusiast himself of that conflict wanted to give an immediate message to the public opinion. Consulting internal and international allies and seriously evaluating the feasibility of such a move would have taken too long.So he dropped the bomb, letting be the others the ones who have to react. This trick just occurs on a daily base down here, except this time foreign media were interested and listening :)All that considered it's anyway a positive sign, because it confirms that in our country there's not real support for the involvement in Irak, and because even in this clownesque fashion it puts pressure on Bush and Blair.Pardon the lenghty and partially off-topic message.
