El gran final
Clinton puso fin a su campaña con un gran discurso. Es de ley reseñar que en el último momento estuvo muy por encima de lo demostrado por sus asesores y ella misma en una campaña que comenzó a ir mal justo cuando comenzó.
And I will continue to stand strong with you every time, every place, in every way that I can. The dreams we share are worth fighting for.Remember, we fought for the single mom with the young daughter, juggling work and school, who told me, "I'm doing it all to better myself for her."
We fought for the woman who grabbed my hand and asked me, "What are you going to do to make sure I have health care?" and began to cry, because even though she works three jobs, she can't afford insurance.
We fought for the young man in the Marine Corps t-shirt who waited months for medical care and said, "Take care of my buddies over there, and then will you please take care of me?"
We fought for all those who've lost jobs and health care, who can't afford gas or groceries or college, who have felt invisible to their president these last seven years.
I entered this race because I have an old-fashioned conviction that public service is about helping people solve their problems and live their dreams. I've had every opportunity and blessing in my own life, and I want the same for all Americans.
And until that day comes, you'll always find me on the front lines of democracy, fighting for the future.
Desde que llegó al Senado, Hillary intentó centrar su mensaje y su imagen para ser una candidata presidencial también atractiva para los que no son del Partido Demócrata. Limó las aristas más progresistas de su mensaje, excepto en el caso de la reforma sanitaria, donde siempre mantuvo una postura tan valiente como coherente.
Quizá si hubiera empleado la materia prima de este discurso desde el primer minuto de la campaña el resultado habría sido diferente.
Para ser presidente de EEUU, o presidente del Gobierno en España, hay que tener un ego de dimensiones monstruosas. Pero no se debe notar mucho.
El último discurso mostraba el auténtico rostro de alguien dispuesto a luchar por los demás hasta el final. En especial, por aquellos por los que casi nadie lucha. Desgraciadamente para Clinton, ese no fue el mensaje fundamental de su campaña.

Estoy totalmente de acuerdo con el Sr. Sáenz de Ugarte. Lo vi entero y me pareció un gran discurso, el mejor de su campaña sin duda.
Me pareció llamativo cómo se volcó con Obama, sin fisuras. Eso sí, le cambia la cara completamente cuando empieza esa parte del discurso. Obsérvese la diferencia entre los primeros 5 minutos y los que dedica a su (ex) rival.
El discurso de "aceptación" de Obama también estuvo muy bien. Hay un abismo entre cualquiera de los dos y McCain. Tiene pinta de que Youtube va a echar humo con montajes de este tipo:

Hay una gran diferencia entre el contenido de los discursos y lo que realmente hacen una vez alcanzada la Presidencia. A mí me sorprende mucho la facilidad del "dónde dije digo, digo Diego" que tienen todos sin excepción.
