El agua para el que ocupa la tierra
Otra de las razones por las que Israel nunca abandonará el control de Cisjordania:
The region faces a fifth consecutive year of drought this summer, but the World Bank report found huge disparities in water use between Israelis and Palestinians, although both share the mountain aquifer that runs the length of the occupied West Bank. Palestinians have access to only a fifth of the water supply, while Israel, which controls the area, takes the rest, the bank said.
Los políticos israelíes suelen decir que ellos no tienen un interés especial en gobernar a los palestinos. Pero la tierra de éstos, y el agua que se encuentra en su interior, es un asunto diferente. Es un botín de guerra que no piensan soltar.

Ya no queda nadie que se crea sinceramente ese cuento de que "Israel tiene voluntad de abandonar Palestina" pero "los palestinos no colaboran".
Y no, aunque lo hicieran sería igual injusto, los blancos sudafricanos también permitieron a los negros "Tener su estado a la par del suyo" y nadie lo consideró justo.
Si los SSionistas abandonaran efectivamente Gaza y Cisjordania (cosa que sólo tienen ganas de hacer en los discursos) habríamos "progresado" hasta el Apartheid.
